Background

LonRes approached Earthware in April 2008 having seen Earthware’s property mapping product, EarthwareProperty, in London Executive’s website. They wanted to explore the possibility of liaising with Earthware’s mapping consultants to introduce a bespoke mapping solution, similar to Earthware Property, into the LonRes system.

Why Earthware?

The big pull to LonRes for working with Earthware for this project, and for using a web mapping solution like EarthwareProperty, was the bird’s eye imagery from Microsoft Bing Maps. The maps allow the user to view a property from four oblique angles: the north, south, east and west.

What Did We Deliver?

• A user defined map link (with bird’s eye imagery) that can be used by LonRes clients (estate agents) to send, via email, property details to potential buyers/sellers using the map as the visual interface for their property research.
